Background

Loudonville Christian School is a nearly 50 year old independent Christian school. Over time, each department created its own logo, leaving the brand fragmented with only maroon and white loosely tying things together.

Challenge

The school needed to move into the digital age with a single, cohesive identity that honored its 50 year history. We had to replace dozens of unofficial logos with a clear system that worked for every department and kept long time stakeholders on board.

01

Built a messaging guide that breaks stereotypes while leaving room for many stories.

02

Held listening sessions with school leadership and key staff to surface priorities and non negotiables.

03

Defined a core maroon and white visual system that could flex across programs and formats.

04

Designed primary, athletics, and arts logos plus a rebuilt digital school seal from clean vector files.

05

Delivered a practical brand kit so every team could apply the new identity consistently online and offline.

Process

We started by auditing every logo, use case, and stakeholder need across the school. Then we defined one core visual language and applied it to a primary logo, athletics mark, arts mark, and refreshed seal, building a simple system the whole community could adopt.

Solution

We delivered a clean, modern maroon and white brand system for LCS, including a primary school logo, dedicated marks for athletics and arts, and a refreshed digital seal. The result is one cohesive identity that honors the last 50 years and is ready for the next 50.
